This is a voluntary aided mixed-sex primary school.
RULE 1. Children who are/were in public care.
RULE 2. Children who will have a sibling attending the school at the time of admission.
RULE 3. Children eligible for pupil premium or service premium funding.
RULE 4: Children of parents or carers living in the ecclesiastical parish of St John’s Parish Church, High Cross. Any parent who is unsure on this can visit the website www.achurchnearyou.com which matches addresses to parishes.
RULE 5. Children whose home address is outside the area as defined above, one or more of whose parents/guardians have, at the time of application shown commitment to the Church of England or another Christian Church by attending a service at least once in each calendar month for a year prior to an application being made*. The governors will seek written confirmation of this level of attendance from the minister or other suitable person in the church.
RULE 6. Any other children.
Tiebreaker: Proximity of the child’s permanent home address to the school, using the Local Authorities computerised mapping system. This is explained in the LA admissions booklet and website.
