Address: Laurel Fields Potters Bar Hertfordshire EN6 2BA
Telephone: 01707 652714

This is a foundation mixed-sex primary school.
Rule 1: Children who are/were in public care.
Rule 2: Medical or social need. You must provide supporting evidence from a doctor, psychologist or other professional, demonstrating that this is the only school that meets your child's needs. Medical priority is given to children with an exceptional illness or disability (for example, restricted mobility). Social priority is given to children whose education would be seriously affected if they did not go to a particular school.
Rule 3: Sibling at the school. The sibling has to be on the roll of the school or linked school at the time of application (and not in their final year). A sibling means the sister, brother, half brother or sister, adopted/foster brother or sister, or child of the parent/carer or partner. The sibling must live in the same house as your child from Monday to Friday.
Rule 4: Nearest community or voluntary-controlled school (or other school/academy following the Council's Rules). You will only have one 'nearest' school. Tiebreaker: Distance.
Rule 5: Distance. If you don't qualify under Rules 1-4, you'll qualify under Rule 5. Tiebreaker: Distance.
Top tip: Not sure what your 'nearest' school is? Find out using Hertfordshire County Council's nearest school tool - https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/services/schools-and-education/school-admissions/research-a-school/find-a-school.aspx
Special note: Any child with a statement of special educational needs, or an Education, Health and Care Plan, that names the school, will be offered a place (because that's the law!).
