Alban City School

This is an academy (free) mixed-sex primary school.

Rule 1: Children in public care (children looked after).

Rule 2: Medical or social needs. Children for whom it can be demonstrated that they have particular medical or social needs to go to this specific school.

Rule 3: Siblings. Children who have a sibling on the roll of the school at the time of application i.e. reception through to year 5.

Rule 4: Founders. Children of a founder member of Alban City School.

Rule 5: It's your nearest community or voluntary-controlled school, or own admitting school/academy/free school that follows Hertfordshire County Council's admission Rules. 

Rule 6: Distance. If you don't qualify under Rules 1-5, you'll qualify under Rule 6.

Tiebreaker: distance to the school (closest applicants take priority).

Special note: Any child with a statement of special educational needs or an EHC Plan, that names the school, will be offered a place (because that's the law!).
