Admission rules for Aston St Mary's C of E (Aided) Primary School

This is a voluntary aided mixed-sex primary school. Published admission number: 18 

RULE 1. All looked after children and children who were looked after, but then were adopted, or subject to a special guardianship order or residence order. 

RULE 2. Children of parents or carers who reside at any address that is in the Ecclesiastical or Civil Parish of Aston (a copy of the map showing Area A can be seen at www.achurchnearyou.com) and have a sibling at the school at the time of admission.

RULE 3. Children of parents or carers who reside at any address that is in the Ecclesiastical or Civil Parish of Aston.

RULE 4: Children of parents or carers outside the ecclesiastical or Civil Parish of Aston who have siblings attending the school at the time of admission.

RULE 5. Children with parents or carers, at least one of whom is a practising member of St. Mary’s Church in Aston.

RULE 6. Children with parents or carers, at least one of whom is a practising member of any other Anglican Church.

RULE 7. Children with parents or carers who are practising members of any Christian denomination represented on “Churches Together in England” or “Churches Together in Stevenage”.

RULE 8: Any other children.

Tie breaker: geographical proximity to the school.
