This is an academy mixed secondary school.

Specialist status: Humanities, Denomination: Church of England

Rule 1: Children in public care.

Rule 2: Sibling at the school at the time of application. NB: You won’t qualify if the sibling is in their final year.

Rule 3: Children who live in the parishes of Tring, Tring Rural, Aldbury, Wigginton and Little Gaddesden. Tiebreaker: distance to the school (closest applicants take priority).

Rule 4: Children with specific religious reasons for attending Tring School (max 10 places available).Priority will be given to children who play an active role in the life of their Church. Tiebreaker: distance to the school (closest applicants take priority).

Rule 5: Children who live nearest to Tring School.

Please note: Any child with a statement of special educational needs, that names the school, will be offered a place (because that’s the law!).
