St Helen's C of E Primary School

This is a voluntary aided mixed-sex primary school.

RULE 1. Children Looked After (and previously looked after).

RULE 2. To children whose sibling(s) attend the school at the time of entry.

RULE 3. To children of parents/guardians who demonstrate a current, active involvement with St Helen’s Church, Wheathampstead, or St Peter’s Church, Gustard Wood (as a family, with the child), for at least one year up to the date of application and whose home address is within the ecclesiastical parish of Wheathampstead at the time of application.

RULE 4. To other children whose home address is within the ecclesiastical parish of Wheathampstead at the time of application.

RULE 5. To children of parents/guardians demonstrating a current, active involvement with St Helen’s Church, Wheathampstead, or St Peter’s Church, Gustard Wood (as a family, with the child), for at least one year up to the date of application and whose home address is outside the ecclesiastical parish of Wheathampstead at the time of application.

RULE 6. To any other children.

In the event of over-subscription in either of categories 4 or 6 priority will be given to children of parents/guardians demonstrating a current active involvement with any other Christian church for at least one year up to the date of application.

Tiebreaker: Distance from the school, measured using the computerised mapping system operated by the Hertfordshire County Council.

NOTES

Children with a Statement of Special Educational Needs which names the school will be offered a place at the school.
