Temporary expansion at Cunningham Hill for 2013/14

Herts CC has plans to temporarily expand the intake at Cunningham Hill Junior School from two to three classes from 2013/14.

The council forcasts that there will be a surplus supply of primary places in the St Albans area from 2013/14 onwards. This will provide some flexibility for neighbouring areas, such as London Colney, Park Street and Colney Heath,  where there is still pressure for places.

Although the shortfall of places in St Albans has been addressed other areas within Hertfordshire are expected to remain under intense pressure. Harpenden, Hatfield, Stevenage, Letchworth, Borehamwood, Berkhamsted and Rickmansworth are among many areas that are forcast to have a shortage of primary places for 2014/15 intake.
