RULE 10. Any other applicants
The governing body will give top priority to an application within a category where written compelling evidence, e.g. a report from the Educational Psychologist or Medical Professional, is provided at the time of application of an exceptional medical or pastoral need of the child which can only be met by the school.
The attendance of a sibling at the school at the time of admission will increase priority of an applicant under each category.
In the event of oversubscription in category 3, the geographical proximity of the child’s home to their respective parish church of Sacred Heart, Berkhamsted, or Corpus Christi, Tring will be taken into account. This will be measured in a straight line, on a map, from the child’s address to the relevant church address.
In the event of oversubscription in any other category, the geographical proximity of the child’s home address to school (using Hertfordshire County Council’s home to school measurements) will be taken into account.
